Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel is right in the center of everything, with basic services available. The rooms were nice, but a touch on the small side making it just enough for getting to sleep. The service was very helpful, with a willingness to assist in exploring the principal attractions in the city, although not fully operational. The location is central to everything, with great restaurants nearby, and a lovely little rooftop terrace to enjoy the sunshine. The dining experience was good for Italian standards, located in the heart of Rome. The hotel provides standard facilities for a short visit to Rome.
The hotel had rooms with lots of character, simple, calming, relaxing atmosphere, but the air conditioning didn't work during my one-night stay. The service was excellent, with staff always available and willing to go the extra mile. The location was fantastic, within a 20-minute walk to everything and surrounded by plenty of bars and restaurants. The dining experience was good quality but not organized for a continental or English breakfast. Overall, a great stay with some room for improvement in certain areas.
The hotel offers cozy rooms with everything you need but lacks storage space. The service is friendly and accommodating, but noise levels can be an issue at times. It is conveniently located near restaurants and bars, though not in the main tourist area. The dining options vary, with some being below expectations. Overall, it provides a decent value for the money.
The hotel exudes lots of character and simplicity, creating a calming and relaxing atmosphere despite the slight dustiness and darkness in the rooms. The lack of natural light and dim electric lighting make it feel somewhat subterranean, yet it remains a unique and tranquil space. The service, though lacking in promptness to address noise from other guests, is overall excellent and helpful, guiding guests on local attractions and dining options. The location is a perfect hub for sightseeing and dining, with the Colosseum within walking distance. Dining quality is impressive, offering homemade desserts and room service. The facilities are good, providing various convenient services like laundry and airport shuttle. However, the hotel entrance is not easily identifiable, requiring guests to locate it based on exterior images.
My stay at the hotel had its highs and lows. The staff was incredibly warm and helpful throughout my extended visit. However, the room I was in seemed to have several issues stemming from poor management. While the location was ideal, being close to popular streets and attractions, there were some shortcomings like the lack of essential shelving. Overall, a mixed experience with both positive and negative aspects.
The hotel is housed in a beautiful old building with stylish rooms that are very comfortable and easy to access with just three steps, all for a reasonable price. The staff is friendly and helpful, although there are some concerns about potential scams targeting tourists in the area. The location is excellent, offering spacious rooms with a view to the street, and is conveniently close to various public locations within walking distance. The dining experience provides a basic continental breakfast served in a proper tray. Overall, it offers good value for money with some notable positives and negatives.
